Beliggende i bakkerne over Massa og omgivet af hundreder af år gamle oliventræer, er feriehuset født ud af et nyligt omstruktureret kolonihus, hvorfra der er rejst elskværdige lejligheder på forskellige kvadratmeter med selvstændige indgange. Huset har en fantastisk havudsigt fra strandene i Forte dei Marmi til omridset af Portovenere, herunder slottet Malaspina, som ligger i nærheden af ejendommen.

Alle lejligheder er blevet renoveret med omhu, idet de har bevaret de arkitektoniske karakteristika af et kolonihus, fra lofterne, med træbjælker og terracotta mezzaninfliser, restaureret tilbage til deres oprindelige pragt. Mange lejligheder er i to etager, og nogle har anden sal i loftsdelen af bygningen, hvor tag- og vinduernes hældning over panoramaet fremhæver særlige og suggestive atmosfærer. Alle lejligheder har mindst ét vindue, der ser ud over det enorme panorama, som Malaspina-slottet giver, og videre til kysten i baggrunden.

Beliggende ca. 3 km fra det historiske centrum af Massa og 6 km fra havet, dens position er det ideelle kompromis mellem landskabet med kysten ved hånden; på lidt over 1 km alternativt vil du finde Spa-centret i San Carlo, berømt for sine termiske farvande, som indeholder et fysioterapi-rehabiliteringscenter.

Hvis du ønsker det, kan du tage en kort tur til Versilia med den berømte by Forte dei Marmi for at få et blik på de VIP'er, der besøger dette område. Viareggio er også berømt for sit vinterkarneval og har en hyggelig promenade. Luccas smukke befæstede by er kun 40 minutter væk, Firenze er en time langt og Pisa med det skæve tårn mindre end en time.
