Beskrivelse : her finder du en invitation til at vende tilbage til tidligere tider ved at drømme om, at tiden dovent går forbi, mens du beundrer naturen og alle de antikke vidnesbyrd, som kun vores landsby og det omkringliggende landskab kan tilbyde Lige på pladsen ligger Stiozzi Ridolfi Palads (XIV cent.) med sin facade lavet af mursten og med elegante arkader fulde af terracotta dekorationer.

Atmosfæren : er elegant og raffineret, og det er muligt at tilbringe her meget rolige ferier. Lige bag bakken er der en stor park, der inkluderer vejen, der drejer rundt om murene, lukket i 1896. Og det er her, på landet, at vi om sommeren stadig kan se ildfluer skinne på markerne.

“Vacanze immediately made us welcome. She made sure she explained every part and function of the apartment, then took us out on the street to point out her favorite places to eat, they were good. The site was fantastic, in the old fortified portion of the town. We had great views of the fields and groves from our apartment. There were several eating establishments within walking distance. The closest bar was always ready with an expresso, or gelato, a full meal or even a pizza when we drug in at barbaricly early times wanting something to eat. There are three museum/historic sites just down the street that are well worth the visit. Certaldo 1731 is a great place to relax or to use as a starting point for exploring Tuscany. Walking around Certaldo Alto or Certaldo is no problem and there are many excellent shops for your eating and food preparation needs. There trails as well as a cable car to make the trips up and down the hill easier Parking was not problem.”
